Sorry, but when you talk about socket and thread support, do you mean
Win32 sockets and threads? Because in Microsoft's CRTDLL.DLL (which
basically is ANSI-compliant with some POSIX thrown in here and there)
there is no socket or thread support. In fact, I have been looking for
a BSD-style socket library for mingw32 with no luck. Any ideas?

I know of a BSD-style socket library for djgpp, but it doesn't work
with Winsock 2.0, which means that I can't use it under W98. Again,
any ideas?
