RHIDE is an IDE (Integrated Development Environment). It have:

1) An editor to edit sources (nothing related to Word or Worperfect ;-)
2) A project manager facilty. It checks the modification times and 
compiles/link the needed modules.
3) A debuger interface.
4) A help system.

That's the equivalent of the Borland C++ 3.1 IDE for djgpp.
