Please read the docs, RHIDE is open source.

Did you created a file called rhide.gpr in the bin directory? I guess the
answer is yes... still guessing: You never use projects, no?
If boths guesses are OK then that's a known bug.
You should use projects, even for one file.
To create a project just go to Project|Open and give a new name.
To add sources to a project select the "Project Window" and press insert.
