Yes, there is and it works reasonably well -- though the 
documentation (HOWTO) states that most distributions (as of its 
writing, of course) are misconfigured.  Look for dhcpcd -- 
that's the client daemon.  dhcpd is the server, which Michelle 
probably doesn't need.

It's actually "\n-- \n" -- with the space, IIRC.
