Hmm, I have written a DJGPP program that accesses I/O ports with no
problems under NT (it runs in Mode X, so it uses them quite
extensively).  Perhaps it's because I run it as Administrator (should
try running it as a "normal" user, I guess).  This is under NT
Workstation 4.0 SP4.
