One thing I have found is that RHIDE is very sensitive to what Window
is active.  That is, if the message window at the bottom is active, or
has your cursor in it, then many of the menu commands (such as
compile, make, run etc) are disabled, or as you say Ghosted.

Just a thought.

Oh, and the other thing I learned from Robert and SET is that you
really don't need to use the DOS shell for much of anything except
perhaps File manipulation (deletes, moves etc.).  After learning how
to Run with Parameters, I haven't used DOS shell once in perhaps three
weeks.
