  Some users (millette AT bigfoot DOT com <Robin Y. Millette>, Luis Pistoia
<lu5gpl AT arnet DOT com DOT ar> and Martijn Versteegh <VERSTEEGH AT KVI DOT nl>) reported
trace backs and descriptions of a bug found in setedit 0.4.23:

  Desktop files older than v0.4.20 can't be used. As the last public release
was v0.4.17 it means that old desktop files can't be used with v0.4.23.

  Sorry about it, this bug was introduced by a patch needed to incorporate
the editor to RHIDE. Lamentably I didn't use any old desktop file after
this patch (see change.log entry for 1999/02/07 12:55:02).

  I'm trying to upload a bug fix release called v0.4.24 before I go to the
mountains next week ;-) I'll be on vacations from 1999/02/27 to 1999/03/16.

  This release will be compiled with djgpp v2.02 and gcc 2.8.1 so I can't be
sure about the stability so download it only if you need to use old desktop
files.
