Hi,
You have a stack problem: your program require about 1Mbyte of stack but under
djpp you have only 256Kbyte of stack.
This is in chapter 15.9 of FAQ!!!

You can put the signed line out of main() procedure (i.e. put the variables
in the data space) or add the line "unsigned _stklen = 1048576" in the global
space of your program.
