:-)), ok, let's see.
1) The files are now called .pmc
2) You'll find 2 of these files pmacros.pmc and cpmacros.pmc (one for perl in
the next release too).

? Do you mean "cp cpmacros.pmc cpmacros.txt"? It won't work at all.

1) 1.4.7 is more stable than 1.4 (even when is beta).
2) The pmacros.pmc file is the "default" pseudo macros file and is used for
any file extention.
3) cpmacros.pmc is used for files with C syntax highlight.

Currently you can have more than 32.

Is just outdated.
As usually: I suggest to all the people playing with advanced features of the
editor to download the standalone editor. Why?
1) Because the readme and change.log documents some stuff not found in the
help.
2) Because I have more control over it.
3) Because there are some experimental features/enhancements not yet found in
RHIDE.
So you should first experiment with the editor and then apply the things to
RHIDE or if they aren't yet available bug Robert to do it ;-)
