What answer do you need?  I thought I provided one: remove the PCMCIA
drivers from CONFIG.SYS.  As the first step, rename CONFIG.SYS to
something else and reboot.  If that doesn't help, rename AUTOEXEC.BAT
as well and reboot again.

I had at one time the exact names of the drivers that were the culprit
from one of the ThinkPad users who was thorough enough to pursue this
issue right to its end and return with the solution.  I could try to
dig that up in my archives, but I believe the above instructions
should be enough to allow you to solve the problem.

Of course, somebody should probably yell at IBM and urge them to solve
the problem with those drivers, or at least provide a work-around (for
those who really need to use PCMCIA devices *and* DJGPP).
