No, the FAQ also tells you to change DJGPP.ENV or RHIDE.ENV.  If your
version of the FAQ doesn't include that, you have an old release of
the FAQ.  Please download the latest version 2.11 (v2/faq211b.zip).

I think RHIDE already uses gxx.
