DJGPP can read windows long file names, so you can either try installing
DJGPP in a directory without long file names (eg c:\djgpp) or try changing
the DJGPP environment variables in autoexec.bat to
SET DJGPP="C:\MYSTUFF\PROGRAM FILES\DJGPP\DJGPP.ENV".

I think the first option will be the easiest, as long file names don't work
when you don't start up in windows, or shut down to dos (Does djgpp need
win95 to read long file names? anyone?) and you will need to fiddle around
with a lot of long directory names all over the place.

Good luck,

Daniel.
