I believe he is refering to ANSI.SYS the DOS driver, not ANSI C, the compliance
company.
The answer is yes. The following works just fine, though I can think of a few
functions that serve just as well in DJGPP (considder looking at conio.h).
printf("\x1b[31mHello \x1b[35;42mworld!\x0b[0m");
I havn't looked at this myself, so don't expect the colours to turn out nicely.
I just chose some numbers out of the blue. To make the escape signal ANSI.SYS
uses, use "\x1b" which inserts hex 0x1b, byte 27.
