You are right with your guess, that sizeof is not part of
libc. Your so-called "standard commands" like sizeof, for,
while and so on are part of the C (or C++) language. In RHIDE
you can see this, that such reserved words are highlighted
white in the editor.

To get help about this keywords, you should look in any
(good) book describing the C language.
