> I tried playing a game i made with allegro...and it compiled fine buuuut.. > i got an error that said i needed > > csdpmi*b.zip > > > few questions: > 1: what is csdpmi*b.zip and where do i get it? > 2: do i need to include it with my program when i give it to people? > 3: uhm, actually 3 is part of 1... 1. csdpmi*b.zip is the binary distribution file for CWSDPMI. CWSDPMI is a DPMI server, much like DOS4GW. Download the csdpmi*b.zip file from whereever you downloaded DJGPP. 2. You don't have to, but if they don't have a DPMI server on their system then your program will not run. A Windows DOS box contains a DPMI server, but most DJGPP programs run better under DOS mode so CWSDPMI is recommended. CWSDPMI needs to be in your runtime directory or in a PATH directory.
