Heh, can somebody please help me with this!

I'm running win95, and when I go to a DOS prompt, bash runs, gcc runs, but
they can't pipe for some reason, and bash used to make the windows ding
sound when you were at the bash$ prompt and hit backspace, and it doesn't
do that anymore either.

I can't figure out what it could be, since it all worked before and
everything's out of the archive of stuff that worked on the zipdisk.

Anyway, since it won't pipe, I can't compile anything with gcc. I know
it's the DOS box, because when I restart in MSDOS mode, it works fine ..
but then I lose long filenames, which means the makefiles don't find the
filenames they're looking for, since I left everything LFN since it was
supported fine before. Actually everything recognizes the LFNs, it's the
pipe problem that screws everything up.

ANyway, if you can help, direct responses to my mail, gwynn AT gdinet DOT com
please, since my newsfeed is kind of spotty.
