Hi,
As some of you may be aware (or maybe not), there is no free C or C++
compiler available for the Psion 5. Unfortunately, the only support we
have is a set of (v. expensive) libraries for Visual C 6 or something.
Anyway, somebody has written an 8086 emulator, XTM, which works very
well (for instance, it allows you to run Linux in the form of Elks, or
some versions of DOS, and Windows 1 or 2!).
So, if programs could be compiled for the 8086, they could be compiled
for the Psion -- so we have a freeware C/C++/whatever else compiler for
the Psion.
However, this scheme relies on the ability to cross-compile to the 8086.
Is this possible? If so, which files (libraries, etc.) do I need.
Thanks very much for your time and help. Bye for now,
