IMHO, you will be much better off with DJGPP in Windows 9X than in NT. In 
addition, 9X is much less a memory hog than NT.

Please download the DJGPP FAQ list and read section 3.3 there.  It lists 
known problems with DJGPP on NT and some solutions, including the 
experimental LFN driver for NT.

What ``LFN utility''?  If you are referring the the LFN driver mentioned 
above, then it works.
