Have you had a look at the readme.1st file? It tells you how to install
DJGPP properly. Write a simple program in C, and try and compile it at the
DOS prompt using something like

gcc test.c -o test.exe

If that works, then RHIDE should also work. To install it, all you need to
do is extract the files to your djgpp installaton directory. Run RHIDE by
typing "RHIDE" at the prompt. The FAQ also covers installation of DJGPP and
RHIDE. BTW what do you mean by "ordinary IDE?" What makes RHIDE so different
from any other IDE?
