Hi,

I recently tried to use Rhide, and found an irritating little thingy which I
do not know if it is a bug or a feature ;)

I loaded two .C data files and saved the project. Then, quitting Rhide, I
restarted and the windows where switched around, i. e. the .C file I loaded
into window "2" was now window "1" and window "1" was now window "2". This
is very irritating since I like to get used to a certain number for a
certain window refering to a certain module in my program. I thought this
switching was due to an ascending alphabetic sort of the first character of
the filename, but it still happens regardless of which file I load first
with regard to alphabetic order of the first character. The same thing
happens if you have three files loaded, save project, then quit and reload -
the middle window goes to position 1, the last to position 2, and the first
wraps round to position 3. For me personally this is a major minus in what
looks like a great IDE - now is this a feature, or can I turn it off some
where? Anybody else encoutered this?

I am currently using my old TP6 IDE 'cause it does not do this - it keeps
the files in the same number sequence windows you exited the program with -
why doens't Rhide behave as logically? I want to use Rhide but at the moment
TP6 remains a better bet - even though I only use it to compose the .C files
and am compiling with makefiles.

Please reply by email if at all possible.

Fanx!
