Well, in fact, djgpp is a port to dos of GCC and other GNU FSF tools,
wich hacve ben ported to many different OS'es.
And there is work done on ports of Allegro, too...
Anyway, the reason I like dos is that you , the programmer are in absolute
control, due to the fack that DOS is so minimal.
