Sword is a c++ classes framework portable across many Unix systems,
Microsoft Windows (95/98 and NT) using Cygnus GNU-WIN32 and MSVC, and
as much as possible under msDOS using DJGPP.

It covers many areas such as string, files/streams, date/time
manipulation, numerical computation (including random, vector,
matrix), and graphical user interface building, with a common look &
feel whatever the platform is.

The latest version is 3.0 but it is unreachable at Simtel.Net where
all DJGPP-related things are located. If you want to use this latest
version, follow the next link:

For the moment, this site has only SWORD 3.0beta06. We have decided to
release new beta version on this or next week (depending on the
results of testing last development version under CygWin32 and DJGPP)
