You should rename some files which is not  8.3 style compliant.
Also you should edit make.bat to reflect changes you made to file names.
(At least it works for me under NT. Probably, on properly configured DJGPP under
WIn95 it
would works just out of the  box)
If you'll fail to do it, I can send pre build libgmp to you.
