okay thanks... actually that's what I did also I did something that might be
considered bad programming practice.  in a "test" header file
I put all of the includes, defines, and prototypes needed by the other modules,
and
in each of the modules ONLY put #include "test.h"  and that seemed to work
fine... but I guess putting the other includes in the header file only is bad
practice eh?  (note: I did #include "test.h" in all my source modules i was
using for the particular program)... -KWII-
