Hi,
Now normally this newsgroup is brimming with messages, but over the last few
days it's apparently died out.
Either this is the news server I'm using, or something has changed in the
way the DJGPP mailing list works (Doesn't it usually stuff it's messages
onto the newsgroup?).
Anyway, I'm not going to just waste your time with something not related to
DJGPP programming, so I've got a simple question:
Can I use calls directly to the Windows API and DirectX through DJGPP/GCC if
I use RSXNTDJ?
One of the reasons is I think RSXNTDJ isn't compiling things properly, so
I'd like to test it out.
Also, does anyone know the best book for learning windows programming,
DirectX programming, the windows, directX and winsock API's? I have a short
list of some that I found by hunting through amazon.com but I'd like to hear
the opinions of all the programmers in this group, since I take it you all
have your own views on what's best :-)
Thanks for your time,
David Storey
