It's not hard if you follow the procedure described in the cc-mode
manual ;-).

Try `M-x show-paren-mode RET'.  It highlights the matching
parens/braces with a special color, and uses a different color for
mismatched ones. I have this switched on in my _emacs file, and find
this feature invaluable.
