Hi Goh,
	by math lib I suppose you mean:-
#include	<math.h>

	and my answer is when you need functions that are defined in that
header.  sin(), log(), and all that good stuff.

	I guess that you do not need math.h for "+, -, *, /" and the basic
stuff defined in c.
