Well no, it wasn't actually though that was a typing error in the message,
the code was actually correct, the same as you have put. I did change that
to "leave" however which does exactly the same thing. The problem was
actually the file format, which shouldn't of been a.out, but it should've
been "coff". Also I needed to add some sections for code and data. After
doing that, it all worked perfectly.
It took staying up till 4am to figure that out - oh the joys of programming!
