I see no reason why RSXNTDJ shouldn't work with GCC v2.8.0, and
I've heard from a few people that it works fine with GCC
v2.8.1.

I recently devised an installation procedure that should not
affect your existing djgpp installation at all. However, I
haven't received any feedback about whether or not my
modifications to `lib/specs' could be dangerous. If you're
willing to do this anyway, read:

    http://www.canvaslink.com/gfoot/winallegro/how2rsx.txt

It's very easy to install, and easy to use after installing.
If you have problems please let me know so that I can update
the instructions accordingly.

Don't be put off by the fact that these instructions say that
you should use gcc v2.7.2.1 and bnu v2.7 -- I wrote these
before hearing from users of newer packages.
