Dear Andrew, I will also try your lfn, because I have written a program
in UNIX, now I ported it to Windows 95 with DJGPP, but not in WinNT,
because my program uses a complex filename extension mechanism,
such as file.dtr.tok.log, and I hope very much that your program
will be a panacea for WinNT users :)
