I don't think this is a good idea, since regcomp is peculiar to the
way I built sed.exe for DJGPP.  gsed.exe behaves differently, as I've
explained, and the source distribution is configured to build with
the GNU library.

It shouldn't be very hard to fill the empty section about regexps in
the Sed docs (and send that to the Sed maintainer, while at that).
Now, *that* would be reason good enough to even update sed302b.zip on
SimTel.NET.  Any takers?
