Yes, Andris patched some important things, I think is more stable, but first 
try 1.4.5.

Yes and no. The 1.4.5.1 uses another (older) version of gdb (4.16) that's a 
big internal difference.

No and yes. You can get the Borland version and then patch it for djgpp.
