Okay folks I am not being rude but I kinda wish people would quit
passing the buck, okay? I asked this question in this newsgroup
sometime ago and somebody don't remember told me to take it to
comp.os.msdos.programmer and I did.. Now they are telling me to take it
here.. Listen this area is for DJGPP and Allegro is a Game
Programming Library exclusively for DJGPP so quit passing the buck and
help me if you can and if you cannot then please don't tell me such crap
as that again. Here is the question...

I don't really want code per se but I am looking for a way to make a
text box like would be in a Windows App with Allegro. You know what I
mean? Like
to have your picture in the background or what ever and then you have a
little rectangular box that is white with a border around it and then
off to the left some text describing the desired input in the box..

Like I said I don't want code but what commands and statements would be
the right direction to look at to accomplish this and maybe explain to
me how this would work?

Thanks,
Bruce F.
