My diploma project's executable size was about 900K. It was an
educational and research program on fractal geometry. It was built
using DJGPP GCC 2.8.1 and MGL 4.05 (free graphics library from Scitech
Software Inc.). The size of sources is about 300-350K and a lot of
graphics files. The MGL sources itself are about 10M size. But the
biggest project which is compiled using DJGPP is port of GNU utils, I think.
Even in zipped form /v2gnu directory of
ftp.simtel.net/pub/simtelnet/gnu/djgpp/ occupies about 185M.
