There's no djgpp/man.  If you at all have a man directory, it should be 
in djgpp/share/man.

All DJGPP packages that I know install man pages into the info directory, 
so you should be just fine without the special man directory.

Why do you think they won't work?

It's up to you.  the `man' clone will look for these files inside 
directories mentioned in MANPATH, and it will additionally look for the 
catN and manN subdirectories, if present, in every such directory.
