That's not much of an excuse ;).  You could have asked this question
on the Allegro Game Programming mailing list, if you're subscribed

Aah, I didn't know about that one, sorry again for posting here, but it is
one of the only newsgroups which seems to contain reasonably intelligent
people. Sorry, excuses again...

Excellent, I will put this in now. And on a related note, does anyone know
why the Allegro demo sets up a timer at the speed of 6400/SCREEN_W msecs?
