Bash doesn't have Info docs, only a man page (a very long one, btw).

"info bash" should display the man page automatically if you have a man 
clone.  One such clone is available in v2apps/man12b.zip on SimTel.NET 
mirrors.  Install it, and it should all work.  (This should be explained 
in the README file which came with Texinfo.)
