I'm utilizing a Gravis gamepad under windows 95, it doesn't come with any
drivers. Here's the problem - before the latest WIP or so, the joystick
response and control in Allegro worked perfectly. Now since the new API
was introduced in the May 30th patch, whenever I press ' LEFT' on my
control pad, it does not register at all in the demo.exe or ex27.exe

I've calibrated it perfectly, went under DOS only mode,
used the disk based Gravis calibration program to no
avail.

There is nothing wrong with the gamepad as I use ROM
emulators that do not use Allegro joystick routines,
and the control pad response works perfectly.

Can someone look into this? Shawn? I don't know what
is going on, but the complete left axis seems not to
be read at all...

This is a critical bug(?) and makes it kinda hard
to make anything of commercial value with Allegro
now IMHO.
