How about trying to get some support from Microsnoft?

Try installing WINDOZE again. I think it puts those directories in.

Somewhere in the installation instructions it says what it should be
minimally set to. Or it was in the FAQ. If you get an error message
about not enough file handles, you need to increase it. I don't think
it causes crashes at your current setting (or any setting).
