maybe VIM! ;-) It is a charityware, that is to say you can use and copy
it as 
much as you like, but you are encouraged to make a donation to orphans
in Uganda. In fact I was using it before discovering "DJGPP world", and
I keep
on. But I don't really know the difference between VIM and other VI
flavors.
What's so cool about Elvis?
