Hello all,
2 days ago, I went to the www.delorie.com site and realised that they were a
lot of new versions of djgpp/allegro stuff so I went through the zip-picker
and downloaded a whole new set.

After installing everything, I fired up the pieces and everything seemed ok. I
then started to build separate projects for the allegro code examples,
basically to make sure everything works. The first 2 examples (ex1.c, ex2.c)
fired up ok...so I thought everything was ok... since these code snippets
would have called & used djgpp& allegro to create an executable...

but alas, all was not well....

Further on, examples like ex13.c would compile but then crash when executed...
Now with the setup I had before I could compile all 30 or so examples no
probs, and they all worked fine... But with this new setup, that's not the
case...

A couple of things I did notice is that I used to have 'allegro' installed
from the root dir... ie "c:\allegro" but this time I followed the zip-picker
and its installing allegro from within c:\djgpp so its now
c:\djgpp\allegro\...

Another thing is that I faintly remember having to copy a alleg.a(???) into a
djgpp dir, but the instructions don't ask to do this anymore...

Anyone? Suggestions? Please!

Details:
All my paths *are* set...and I have rebooted...
I do include "alleg" and then include the option in RHIDE...
Code is the same...
I have tried with & without cwsdpmi....they still crash...

Cheers,
Rob D.
West Oz.
