If you are unhappy with the DJGPP release schedule, please volunteer
to do some work on it. Or pay us, and we will do it faster.

It is extremely annoying, to say the least, to have all my weekends
dedicated to DJGPP and then hear comments such as above from people
who didn't contribute anything to ease my workload. Even a simple
thanks instead of ``ages since'' and ``what gives'' would be nice.

And, btw, DJGPP *is* constantly updated. Not yearly, almost dayly.
All those ported GNU packages which bring you the latest GNU releases
don't come for free, you know, they also require a lot of work by
somebody. The single DJGPP component whose last official release was
relatively long ago is the library, but even it has an updated version
available from the net where all the known bugs are corrected.
