Hi - Bruce Bartlett from SA here.

Yes, I have the classic problem of when gcc is busy calling ld to link my
.o code, it says "can't find -lstdcx (ENEONT)". I've read all the answers
on this and the faq on delorie, but they DON't WORK! My biggest problem is
that they all presume that there is a file called stdcxx.a in the lib
directory. This file is supposed to have been put there from the
gpp2721b.zip (see - the latest version!). yet, there is NO SUCH FILE in
gpp2721b.zip. So where is this mysterious stdcxx.a? I have installed ALL
the needed djgpp components , and MANY extras.

I know that if there is such a file, that I should rename it to a shortler
length, or add an extra line in the RHIDE.ENV file. But there has to be
such a file first.

Please will someone help. This problem will not go away.
Thanx
