This message is to announce the release of C-Desktop v1.0.0 (finally!)

I'm sorry to anyone who initially showed interest a few months back in the
project that it took so long to get out, but I've been busy.

You can currently get it from the simtel archives in the v2tk directory:

Also, it will be available from my home page in the toolkits section as
soon as XOOM's ftp services are working again:

C-Desktop is a Turbo Vision like library for plain C. It is designed in
distinct flexible modules so that it can be expanded and modified, but
without having the requirement of programming in C++. Currently it supports
only the DJGPP platform.

This is a stable but incomplete version. The main problems have been
finishing scroll bar support and all mouse support. However, it is
fully-functional and will most likely be updated in the not too distant
future as it is developed inside one of my own projects.

Please read the README.TXT file in the archive before using the
library.
