Please post here the *exact* report printed by go32-v2, don't describe it 
in your own words.

The most probably cause that go32-v2 doesn't see the extended memory is 
that you have some options on the line in CONFIG.SYS which installs 
EMM386 that prevent extended memory from being used.  Please read section 
3.9 of the DJGPP FAQ list (v2/faq210b.zip from the same place you get 
DJGPP), and if that still doesn't help, post here your CONFIG.SYS and 
AUTOEXEC.BAT.

I think RSXNTDJ is incompatible with GCC 2.8.1.
