You should begin by reading section 18.8 of the DJGPP FAQ list 
(v2/faq210b.zip from the same place you get DJGPP).  These things are 
done differently in DJGPP, since it is a protected-mode environment.  
Don't look for functions with the same names, because some of them are 
either unncessary or don't make sense in the case of DJGPP.
