Subject: offtopic: D3D vs GLIDE ?

Direct3D and Glide are too kinds of 3d hardware accelaration API.
d3d is quite slow, but supported by all 3d hardware.
glide is fast, but supported only by ? % of 3d cards.
Glide only supported by 3dfx cards, not by others.
d3d supports software rendering, but 10x slower than a good asm engine.

The question:
Could somebody give me a statistic about people,
how much persent of 3d cards owned by people supports glide ?

Tell me please some kinds of 3d card not supports glide.
