Hi my name is Lance.  Im a chiropractor in Atlanta.  Trying desperately to
teach myself C graphical programming through on line tutorials.  I have
chosen to learn to use Allegro cause all you pros love it.  I have had
success with primitives and the like, but I am having a real problem
understanding Palettes and bitmaps.  I know this is partly because Im having
a hard time getting the grasp of arrays and especially pointers.  I learn
best by disecting code but Ive been unable to find any simple allegro
code(even in the examples directory) giving simple examples of SIMPLE
bitmapping or palettes besides set_palette(desktop_palette).  Im not a dummy
but this little roadblock is frustrating me.  Even the vivace tutorial which
is great eluded me in these cases. I dont think a graphics book would help
me because Im trying to learn the allegro library specifically.

If one of you code geniuses could just write me out a very simple bitmap and
or pallete and sprite example it would be GREATLY appreciated.   If you Live
around Atlanta, I will exchange Chiropractic for graphics help.
