because i cannot use allegro datafiles (don't ask why; i've posted about it a
million times in the past and was finally told there was nothing wrong with my
code-it was just not working for some reason, possibly because of something
messed up with my computer) i decided to write my own kind that work for me. i
was wondering how i could do this. any suggestions would be greatly
appreciated. thanks in advance
