It has been a long time since I compiled Info-Zip (which I assume is what
you're using), but AFAIK, if you compile the DJGPP version (as opposed to
Borland C, for instance) and put `SET LFN=Y' in AUTOEXEC.BAT, long file
names should work.

I'm fairly sure there isn't any problem with using something like WinZip.
